The krav maga instructor's book introduces the bases and advanced notions about how to instruct the krav maga, a discipline coming from Israel and taught to many units throughout the world; police, army, security professionals; and also to an audience of civilians more and more numerous.Referring to the main principles of the krav maga announced by the founder of the discipline, Imi Lichtenfeld, the book is composed of 14 chapters divided in three parts:-the building of a lesson,-the essential knowledge,-the advanced knowledge.All a pedagogical corpus that allows to the instructor to develop his teaching skills, and to the trainees to understand the functioning of the system in its finest mechanisms. The five key points of reading allow to identify the structure of a quality teaching. Numerous themes are presented, such as the human biomechanics, the building of a technique, the technical and tactical dimensions of a violent confrontation.The book also dedicates a chapter to recovery and another aiming at a better knowledge of oneself.The links with connected and inseparable skills to the krav maga as shooting trainings, CQB and TCCC, are also presented to allow to encircle all the depth of the discipline.Two teaching programs are also included:One dedicated to a long-term learning, on four years for a trainee and four-teen for an instructor.A second dedicated to a short-term learning, especially for the constituted forces.Finally the book approaches the context which presided over the creation of this combat system and which feeds the practice.The book is enriched with numerous visuals, photographs and diagrams.It was introduced by Colonel Raymond H.A. Carter, author, among others of several books about hand-to-hand combat.The author: Romain Morell is a krav maga instructor since 2002, a reserve officer in the french army and a professional of security.
